Jesus Hands Were Healing Hands
  • Matthew 81 When Jesus came down from the
mountainside, large crowds followed him. 2 A man
with leprosy came and knelt before him and said,
Lord, if you are willing, you can make me
clean. 3 Jesus reached out his hand and touched
the man. I am willing, he said. Be clean!
Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.

24
Jesus Hands Were Healing Hands
  • Jesus touched the un-touchable
  • Our Ministry of Presence should be a ministry
    of touch
  • Matthew 912 On hearing this, Jesus said, It is
not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.
13 But go and learn what this means I desire
mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to
    call the righteous, but sinners.

25
Jesus Hands Were Healing Hands
  • Luke 440 At sunset, the people brought to Jesus
all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying
his hands on each one, he healed them.
  • Acts 818 When Simon saw that the Spirit was
given at the laying on of the apostles hands, he
    offered them money
  • 1 Timothy 522 Do not be hasty in the laying on
of hands, and do not share in the sins of others.
    Keep yourself pure.

26
Jesus Hands Were Helpful Hands
  • Mark 914-27
  • Acts 1037-38
  • We are to reflect the Glory of Jesus in our lives
and it must been seen by others in the deeds we
    do
  • Titus 214
  • Matthew 516
  • Titus 38

27
Jesus Hands Were Nail-Scarred
  • 1 Peter 224 He himself bore our sins in his
body on the cross, so that we might die to sins
and live for righteousness by his wounds you
    have been healed.
  • Romans 57 Very rarely will anyone die for a
righteous person, though for a good person
someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God
demonstrates his own love for us in this While
we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

28
Jesus Hands Were Inviting Hands
  • Matthew 1128 Come to me, all you who are weary
and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take
my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am
gentle and humble in heart, and you will find
rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and
    my burden is light.
  • Luke 1423 Then the master told his servant, Go
out to the roads and country lanes and compel
them to come in, so that my house will be full.

29
It so often starts with a touch
  • Think of all the things that start with a touch
  • Today I hope that Jesus touched your heart and in
so doing you will be changed
  • What needs to change in your life

30
It begins with a touch from the Master, reach out
and take a hold
