The horseshoe drive to University Hall is
removed, creating the academic green center for
campus.

BGSU Football and coach Doyt Perry win the small
college national title.

Future President John F. Kennedy appears at BG.

Cal Poly team crashes after playing BGSU in
football. Mercy Bowl to benefit Cal Poly follows
and is BGs first bowl game.
