  early childhood centers
• 1999 Early Head Start Collaboration begins
• 2003 First in State to offer Comprehensive Head
  Start Services to all Pre-K Students

• 2003 2005 ISD receives three 21CCLC awards
• 2005 Partnership with Department of Social
  Services to launch a Child Welfare Initiative
