About the Pumpkin Patch

• The purpose is to celebrate reading and to have
  fun!
• It is intended to be a family project
• This project is completely optional.
  Participation is not required.

Pumpkin Patch Rules

• Pumpkins should represent a book character.
• Return completed forms with the title and author
  of the book written on the character summary.
• Get the book information first before even
  starting to decorate the pumpkin.

Pumpkin Patch Rules Continued

• Absolutely no carved pumpkins.
• To decorate you can use paper, glue, paint,
  markers, pipe cleaners, fabric, or other craft
  items on the pumpkin.
• Let your creativity soar!

Pumpkin Patch Dates

• Please bring your pumpkins between Wed., October
  15 and Friday, October 24.
• Pumpkins must be up and taken home by October
  31st or will be disposed of at school.
