Breakthroughs and Major Achievements
  • Wireless Sensor Networks

Technology State-of-the-Art Breakthrough
Real-time Video Surveillance System Cameras are separated into three layers by their capturing capabilities. Only interested events can trigger more powerful cameras in higher layers. (Purushottam Kulkarni, University of Massachusetts ) Our system can cover more sensor nodes using fewer cameras that can rotate their lens. We develop an algorithm to assign events to different camera and deal with event allocating problem when managing mobility.
