FORMAT LEFT SIDE
  • Left Learning side your interaction
  • Create visual representations
  • Summarize the daily lesson
  • Write about characters, themes, and settings
  • Complete writing assignments that allow you to
    analyze literary works and explore your thoughts
    and values regarding controversial issues

GUIDELINES(for full credit)
  • COVER must include student name, course title,
    class period, teacher name, and at least two
    color pictures or illustrations on literary
    themes
  • TABLE OF CONTENTS leave five pages blank in the
    beginning of your notebook start numbering
    pages after the table of contents
  • PAGE NUMBERS number every page in advance (right
    side ONLY), on the top right corner do not rip
    out pages for ANY reason
  • UNIT OVERVIEW PAGES each time we begin a new
    unit, leave a blank page (left right) .. At the
    conclusion of each unit, go back and decorate the
    overview pages with a clever title, the essential
    questions and big picture theme that reflects,
    summarizes, or represents the ideas in that unit
  • TITLES at the top of each days right-side
    notes, leave space for a title, date, and lesson
    objective the title will also be added to your
    ongoing table of contents with the corresponding
    date and page number
