Thus, Reformation changes in ways of teaching /
practicing Christianity (this was also called the
Protestant Reformation because it involved a
protest against Catholic practices)

The Protestant movement was led by Martin Luther,
so the first Protestant faith was
Lutheranism (the Catholic Church excommunicated
Luther!)
