• Title
• Pictures
• 1st sentence of each paragraph with a range
• Make a prediction and write it down.
• Listen (Read).
• Review does the prediction square with the
  reading?

• No re-read and re-predict as necessary
• Revise the prediction as necessary.

Writing The Essay

• Introduce the topic.
• Think about what it means.
• Write down words describing your feelings.
• Choose the most intense emotion and form a
  sentence THESIS.
• Establish support for the thesis.
• Ask why do you feel that way? Think!
• Write down words explaining why (2 max.).
• Form 1 sentence using each word TOPIC SENT.
