Objectives

• To provide stakeholders with an overview of the
  plans and progress of the cross-government
  Migration Statistics Improvement Programme (MSIP)
  and the implications for population estimates
• To gather feedback from stakeholders on the plans
  for Phase 2 of the MSIP to feed into the
  programme
• To meet the requirement of the UK Statistics
  Authority 'Code of Practice for Official
  Statistics' to 'engage effectively with users of
  statistics to promote trust and maximise public
  value'
