Introduction

• I think that important industries for the Czech
  Republic are the brewing, the sugar-industry, the
  engineering and for example the glass industry.
• For my presentation I chose one sort of them
  the brewing.

History of the Brewing

• The brewing has on the czech territory the long
  tradition. It was developing from the primitive
  preparation in home-made to the workmanlike
  production and then to industrial production in
  the mechanical breweries and then up to the
  contemporary modern mass production.
• In 4. century BC Bojove were on the territory
  of the Czech republic, who grew the corn and then
  maybe they made from the corn something, which
  was similar as todays beer.
• The first unconfirmed comment about the brewing
  in our country was found out already in 999.
• The first extant testament about production of
  beer in our country was got out by Vratislav II.
  in 1088. It was the deed of a foundation, which
  Vratislav II. assigned to the canonry on Vyšehrad
  the tithing of brewing.

• In 12./13. century the new royal and aristocratic
  towns were founded and they gained the brewing
  privilege.
• The oldest brew-house was built in Teplé in 1200.
  And other older brew-houses Hodonín (in 1228),
  Olomouc (in 1250), Nemecký Brod (in 1333),
  Vodnany (in 1336) etc
• In 14. century the first comment about export of
  czech beer.

Famous people of the our Brewing

• František Ondrej Poupe (1753 1805)
• He worked in Brno in brewery Starobrno.
• He was a czech brewer, corrector and innova-
• tor of the czech brewing.
• He published the first czech textbook about
• the brewing with title Pocátkové základního
• naucení o varení piva
• The quality of beer and the receipts of brewery
  in Brno escaleted thanks to him.
• He is famous as a designer of the beer weight.

Importance of the brewing

• The product of brewing is beer.
• The beers are instrumental as medicament.
  Reportedly the beer is drunk as antistress and as
  medicament against the emergency of the ischemic
  cardiac disease. And the drinking of the beers
  decline the mortality on the myocardial
  infarction.
• Also reportedly the drinking of beers can help
  with cure against the cancer.
• When we drank one bottle of beer, then we can
  have a calm night maybe.
• The drinking of beer devolop up the immunity.

Todays brewing

• Nowadays most of the breweries is sold to bigger
  foreign syndicates, for example the Pilsners
  brewery was sold to SABMiller.
• On the other side the small private breweries are
  established and they are successful, for example
  Bernard in Humpolec Holba in Hanušovice.
• Now each good brewery makes the nonalcoholic beer
  and the consumption of this beer grows up
  continually.
• Also the breweries make the fruit speciality of
  the beer.

My opinion about beer

• I think that the beer should be drunk because it
  supports better digestion.
• Also it can be used as medicamente.
• However it is drunk with measure.
• I hope that the people in foreign buy and drink
  the excellent czech beer.
