Ideas for Investigations

• Think of measurable properties (also called
  factors or variables)
• e.g. temperature, time, length, mass etc
• Think of situations where two of these might be
  related
• Think of how you could in investigate this type
  of situation safely in a laboratory

Completing the Investigation Booklet

• Answer fully, but keep your answer brief
• Label all diagrams
• Tables should have headings and units
• Graphs should have labelled scales with units

Be careful with -

• Aim should mention two variables
• Hypothesis needs direction
• Measurements should be repeated and an average
  taken
• Graphs should use average values
• Only one investigation can use a bar chart
