How does NERSC interface resources and science
teams?

• We provide reliable, high performing, allocated
  compute and data resources.
• Given an allocation you can login and then submit
  jobs or move data.
• At the last NUG meeting we discussed other data
  methods that users find helpful

A proposed Web/NGF interface

• A new host data.nersc.gov would mount NGF and
  also run a LDAP/GSI based authentication
• A project makes data web accessible by putting it
  in a www directory, i.e., /project/myproject/www
