• Kennedy arrives in Dallas, TX to drum up support
  for the 1964 Presidential Election.
• Presidential motorcade leaves Love Field and
  travels to the Dallas Trade Market.
• Motorcade slows through Dealy Plaza

Something happened on the way to that place..

• Just before 1230 pm the motorcade slows to make
  the corner from Houston St. on to Elm St.
• Motorcade is accelerating from 9 mph to about 25
  mph.
• Three shots ring out in the plaza
• JFK is fatally shot. Texas Governor John Connally
  is also injured.
• Motorcade proceeds to Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
