    course
  • Korean version, consulted to endocrinologist to
remove any error or unrealistic situation
  • Three cases DM, DM with hypertension
    with/without hypercholesterolemia
  • Yonsei University
  • Some professors use their own bedside teaching
    time for p-drug education.
  • Korea University
  • In developing of PBL module for undergraduates
  • Many unreported activities

14
Future Plan
  • Workshop for intra-university professors
  • Prerequisite for resident, medical student
    training
  • Workshop for primary physicians
  • Especially become important with the separation
    of prescription from dispensing drugs
  • Most easy
  • Workshop for residents
  • Most difficult due to lack of time and
    facilitators

15
Good Strategy for Propagation
  • Work with persons in authority like deans
  • Cooperation among several medical academic
societies like society of pharmacology, society
of internal medicine, society of medical
    education
  • Free or little of charge Need sponsors
  • Separation of PBL module developing from simple
    facilitatoring
  • Module developing is much more difficult than the
    facilitating.
  • Shorten the workshop course time
  • Highly recommend intra-mural workshop
