  • Earth has many interesting landforms. Lets take
    a look at them!

Fjord
  • A narrow body of water that lies between two
    rocky coasts in Norway.

Mountain Range
  • This is an example of a Mountain Range. It is a
    series of interconnected mountains forming a
    distinct group

Glacier
  • An example of a glacier in Antarctica. It is ice
    and compacted snow that moves slowly.

  • A low area between mountains is called a valley

  • An island is completely surrounded by water.

  • A great body of salt water that covers a large
    portion of the earth.

  • Hill s an area of land that is higher than the
    surrounding land, but not as high as a mountain.

  • Canyons a steep narrow valley with deep sides
    often with a stream running through it.
