Fun Things to do with High Energy Lasers and
Earn a Living too

• Abstract
• Dr. Dulaney will present some of the high-energy
  laser application technologies that have been
  developed at the company he founded in 1995.
  Emphasis will be on three technologies
• Laser Peening, which uses high-energy laser
  pulses to increase fatigue properties of metal
  parts.
• Laser Bond Inspection, which uses high-energy
  laser pulses to interrogate bonded surfaces to
  ensure proper bonding.
• Laser Mine Neutralization, which uses an
  enormous burst of laser energy from a thermal
  inertia laser to drill holes in soil to access
  buried mines, pierce the casing and neutralize
  the mine.
• The seminar will include lots of data and numbers
  for the geeks, graphics and concept drawings for
  the artists, pieces and parts to pass around
  for those who need tactile reinforcement, and
  some short demonstrative video for everyone else.
