• The Portland Public Schools will develop an
  evaluation system for professional staff and
  administrators that focuses on student learning
  as the primary component of decision-making and
  support. This system builds on the
  professionalism of teachers, specialists, and
  administrators, and is based on current research
  and models in other districts.
