  • Vines Expository Commentary on Galatians W. E.
    Vine pg. 192
  • It is more likely, considering the remoter
context, see especially 521, that the thought of
the fault getting beforehand with the caution of
the believer, finding him off his guard, and so
taking advantage of him. This interpretation
provides a vivid contrast with the deliberate and
    premeditated practice of evil

10
  • Galatians Gods Antidote to Legalism Ron
    Merryman pg. 110
  • Paul encourage all believers to be
filled/controlled by the Spirit and to walk in
the Spirit. But what was normative in Pauls day
has become ultra-normative in our day that is,
spiritual Christians today are a minority or
viewed as a minority. Most Christians relegate
the responsibility of Gal. 61 to others because
they simply do not see themselves as spiritual
they simply feel they do not fit the bill.
Spiritual ones are limited to pastors, elders,
deacons, or Sunday school teachers! What a
    perversion.
