1. Simplify the process so staff will understand
   steps
2. Review results of tools in advance and determine
   how best to share with family/student.
3. Selection of team members with different roles is
   tricky due to assumed traditional roles.
4. Refrain from problem-solving during the
   engagement phase. Take time to build
   relationship with family first. Allow venting!
   Listen!
5. The big need identified by the family may not
   be yours. Either give up yours or reframe it so
   that your big need fits in with theirs.
