resources the library offers and where to search
for them on the library webpage. - Where you can look on the library webpage to
learn more about using the library and its
resources. - How to contact a professional librarian for
additional assistance.

resources in a wide variety of formats that can
generally be divided into 2 main types - Physical resources such as books, journals,
CD-ROMs DVDs, anatomical models or posters
charts, pathfinders handouts. - Electronic resources such as electronic subject
databases, e-books, e-journals, web links
directories, tutorial videos presentations,
pathfinders handouts, streaming video, radio
television broadcasts, dissertations theses.

- Fortunately, with so many different formats
available, the library has made it easy to find
what you are looking for by making it all
accessible from one place The Librarys Online
Catalog! - Weve even made it easy to find the online
catalog! Just type the easy to remember
www.keiserlibrary.com URL (web address) for the
catalog onto the address bar of your computers
web browser and it will take you to the library
login page! - To Log-in
- Your Student ID Number is your login USERNAME.
- The last 4 digits of your Social Security Number
(also called your Federal Tax ID Number) is your
login PASSWORD.

6REMEMBER You MUST log-in with your USERNAME
and PASSWORD otherwise you will not be given
access to the electronic subscription based
databases other licensed content for which the
university has paid your access fees in advance.
You can use them as much as you want with NO
CHARGE!!!
7Once you have logged in to the librarys online
catalog it should look like this

8Do you remember the 2 main types of resources we
mentioned earlier?
Physical resources such as books, journals,
CD-ROMs DVDs, anatomical models or posters
charts, pathfinders handouts can be found by
entering a search term in the YELLOW shaded area
of the librarys online catalog.
Electronic resources such as electronic subject
databases, e-books, e-journals, web links
directories, tutorial videos presentations,
pathfinders handouts, streaming video, radio
television broadcasts, dissertations theses can
also be found by initiating a search from the
librarys online catalog but to find these
resources you would look in the BLUE shaded area
for a link that you can click to access the
electronic resources search page.
