  blood. Male mosquitoes prefer plant juices such
  as plant nectar.
• The baby mosquito starts looking like an adult
  mosquito when the baby mosquito is in the pupa
  stage.
• Some mosquitoes are called skeeters.
• Mosquitoes love water, the water is usually dirty
  and safe, so most female mosquitoes almost always
  lay their eggs in little puddles.
