Fel y gwelwch yn y llun uchod, roedd waliau yn
Nhrer Ceiri wedi syrthio dros y llwybrau. Fel
canlyniad, roedd ymwelwyr yn cerdded dros y
waliau cerrig ac yn achosi mwy o ddifrod.As seen
in the picture above, the walls of Trer Ceiri
had collapsed blocking pathways. As a result,
visitors were walking over the stone walls
causing further damage.

Roedd creon yn cael ei ddefnyddio i farcio cerrig
oedd angen cael eu symud er mwyn eu dychwelyd ir
man cywir. Crayon was used to mark stones that
needed moving so that they could be returned to
the correct location.

Yn anffodus, yn ystod y gwaith cadwraeth,
gollyngwyd y capan drws ai gracio.
Unfortunately, during the conservation, the
lintel from the sallyport (back door) was
dropped and cracked.

Hedfanwyd y capan i gael ei drwsio ai hedfan yn
ôl eto. The lintel was flown away to be
repaired and flown back again.

• Arteffact gafwyd yn ystod y gwaith cadwraeth oedd
  crochenwaith Rhufeinig wedi torri, oedd wedi ei
  gladdu yn wal y brif fynedfa. Roedd y pot o dan
  ran mwy newydd o wal felly gallwn gasglu fod y
  rhan yma or wal wedi cael ei hadeiladu ar ôl ir
  Rhufeiniad sefydlu yn yr ardal.
• An artefact discovered during conservation work
  was a broken Roman pot, buried in the wall of the
  main entrance. The pot was below a newer section
  of wall so we can conclude that this wall was
  built after the Romans had settled in the area.
