Important legends the jack-o'-lantern
  • Jack died a few years later, but could not enter
heaven, but when I tried to go into hell, the
devil had to send it back, he could not take his
soul (he promised). Where do I go now? Asked
Jack, and the devil said to him, you came back.
The way back was dark and terrible wind would not
let him see anything. The Devil tossed Jack a
burning coal directly from hell, to be guided in
the darkness, and Jack put it in a gourd he
carried with him, that did not go out in the wind.
