  • 2 separate application lists
  • Honours degrees
  • Ordinary degrees diplomas
  • Select up to 10 courses per list
  • It is possible to receive an offer on both lists
  • You may then decide to accept either your Level 8
    or your Level 7/6 offer
  • COURSES MUST BE LISTED IN ORDER OF PREFERENCE

  • Other EU Applicants You must forward
    certificates to CAO for exams already taken (e.g.
    GCSEs Previous A-Levels)
  • A-levels
  • You may phone Trinity to ensure results received
    (NI results sent directly via exam boards, others
    via UCAS)
  • Important to ensure CAO receive your Candidate
    and Exam Centre numbers check on your May
    Statement from CAO
  • Exams other than Irish Leaving Certificate
    A-levels send your results to CAO as soon as
    you receive them
  • Not considered personal statements or
    references. No interviews

  • Closing date to aptitude test for Medicine 20
    January 2015, test on 28 February 2015
  • Leaving Certificate results are published in
    mid-August
  • Offers for places on courses are issued from
    mid-August (8 rounds)

  • 2 x C at A-level

  • Course Requirements Requirements for some
    courses (e.g. HC / C at A-level in Mathematics
    for Engineering)
  • Additional assessments for Restricted Entry
    courses (including Music, Drama, Medicine)
  • Points (see www.tcd.ie/study for 2014 points)
  • Bonus points for Mathematics (A-Level
    Mathematics, Further Mathematics or Pure
    Mathematics for grade E or above)
  • Grades from different sittings cannot be combined
    for points scoring purposes
  • A-levels score based on 4 A-levels or 3
    A-levels 1 AS in a different subject from the
    same or the preceding academic year

5. Irish Government Free Fees Scheme
  • In order to qualify for "free fees"
  • You must be an EEA national or have official
    refugee status and
  • You must have been ordinarily resident in the EU
    for at least 3 of the 5 years before starting
    your course and
  • You must be undertaking a fulltime undergraduate
    course of at least 2 years' duration and
  • You must not have a previous qualification to the
    same level
  • You must not have a postgraduate qualification
    and
  • You must not be repeating the year
