groups worse?
  • Black and Hispanic groups are more likely to live
    in poverty they have less choice about where
    they might live
  • Blacks and Hispanics groups are more likely to be
    unemployed this means they cant afford better
    housing and can be forced to live in the ghetto.
  • Blacks and Hispanics are more likely to be poorly
    educated this means you are more likely to be
    unemployed and not be able to afford a good house

  • Education is seen as the most important factor in
    achieving the American Dream. It is supposed to
    provide equal opportunity for success to all
    ethnic groups.
  • This is often not the case though with some
    ethnic minority groups doing much worse at school
    then their white counterparts
