Hezekiah. (Zephaniah 11) - He was a prophet in the days of Josiah, king of
Judah 640 609 BC - Zephaniah used the phrase - The day of the
Lord. (6 times in these 3 chapters.)

- God's wrath will come on Judah
- God's wrath will come on surrounding nations

1 Gather yourselves together, yes, gather
together, O undesirable nation, 2 Before the
decree is issued, Or the day passes like chaff,
Before the Lord's fierce anger comes upon you,
Before the day of the Lord's anger comes upon
you! 3 Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth,
Who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness,
seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden

judgments, He has cast out your enemy. The King
of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst You shall
