Louisiana Purchase Territory

Oregon Territory
The red line indicates 5440 parallel which was
set by the Convention of 1824 treaty with
Russia. The U.S. and Britain jointly claimed the
territory until an 1846 treaty that divided the
territory at the 49th parallel.
