Title: TERRORISM IN THE MIDDLE EAST

1
TERRORISM IN THE MIDDLE EAST
2
Meaning History
  • There are many definitions of terrorism hard to
    reach a consensus.
  • This matters for policy makers, citizens, and the
    international community.
  • From the 1960s until the late 1980s, the main
    motives for terrorism were political.
  • The nature of terrorism changed overtime with
    more internationalization, the emergence of
religious factors in the 1990s, and the growing
    acceptance of suicide.
