• Connect parallel port to PC

• Connect power supply to XC40-10XL Board
• Connect Pin 52 to GND
• Connect Pin 54 to 3.3 V
• Connect Pin 2 to 5 V
• Set Bios to ECP
• Install the XSTOOLs software utility

• Type xssetclk xs40-010xl 100 in DOS

• Place a shunt on the jumper 12(turn off power
  supply first)
• Process downloading
• Turn off Power supply and remove the shunt from
  the jumper 12

• Use the XS Board Test Utility to test this board
• Choose XS40-010XL
• Set port to LPT1

• The 7-segment LED displays 0 and passed the test

• Drag and Drop the bit stream file on the GXSLOAD
  program
