  clarifies the main ideas. The order and
  structure help the audience understand the
  material. Smooth transitions among ideas,
  sentences, and paragraphs. Strong introduction
  to engage the audience. Well-designed
  conclusion.
• Sentence fluency and conventionsWriting has an
  effective flow with strong control over sentence
  structure (no run-ons or fragments, consistent
  verb tense, parallel structure, etc.). Proper
  spelling, capitalization, grammar, and
  punctuation.
