Colour has everything

Our eye
  • generally processes the spectrum of light that we
    see in a rainbow.

Many animals do not see in colour...
  • Cats, dogs mice have very low colour
    perception.
  • Monkeys, birds squirrels have good colour
    perception.
  • Bees butterflies have exceptional colour
    perception

5
Think in terms of the way they look
  • and what they HAVE to see.

6
And if you think colour doesnt matter to us....
  • try not caring what you wear, the colour of your
room or imagining that everyones eyes were grey.

7
Colour is in our language.
  • I lost my temper, I saw red.

Primary Colours

    colour red, blue yellow

9
Secondary Colours
  • are the first generation children of yellow, blue
red. When you mix two primary colours you get a
    secondary.

10
Tertiary colours are
  • the result of mixing a primary and secondary
colour. For example yellow orange make a
    yellowish-orange.

11
Complimentary colours
  • are colours opposite each other on the colour
wheel. Complimentary colours are like a good
couple, they bring out the best in each other.
