• Conditions of worth may be placed upon you
• We see our value only by what others say. People
  cope by rejecting/denying parts of their organism
  that do not fit their self-concept. The greater
  the gap between the self and the organism, the
  more limited and defensive a person becomes.
• We seek unconditional positive regard
  acceptance without requirements on our behavior
