Wednesday January 13 Dear Mrs. Hogan, I am
writing to you today to share with you why I
think we need a garden at our school. I have four
reasons why I think our school should have a
garden. First, it would be great exercise for
students and teachers to get outdoors and work in
the garden. Second, we could learn how to plant
and grow our own food so that when were grown
ups, wed know how to do it. Third, we would be
healthier because we would be eating more fruits
and vegetables. Last but not least, wed be
helping the environment because our snacks would
not produce garbage. Thank you for reading my
letter. I hope you will consider my ideas.
Sincerely, Gary Gardener
