  as seen in our ability to reason, to will
  (choose) and to love.
• i. I can begin to know truth and that which is
  outside of me.

• f. God as Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit),
  is the central mystery of the Christian Faith.
• g. God created the universe out of love, but
  humanity freely sinned against Him.

3. The power of sin has limited us from entering
into a relationship with God.

• Original Sin is the condition of separation from
  God that each person is in from the moment of
  their conception.
• Sin has darkened our intellect, weakened our
  will, and made sin look attractive
  (concupiscence).
• We are subject to spiritual and physical death.

4. Only in Christ do we have the hope of
overcoming Original sin and all its effects.

• a. God has slowly regathered His broken family
  through the institution of covenants, culminating
  in Christ.
• b. Through Christs passion, death,
  Resurrection, He showed us a life of obedience,
  free from sin.
• c. Through the Holy Spirit given to us in
  Baptism, we are united in grace with the Trinity.
