  kinesiology including anatomy, applied, energy,
  sports psychology and biomechanics.

History of Kinesiology

• Kinesiology is the study of movement in the body.
• Started in 1960s by Dr. George Goodheart
• Found relationship between muscles, internal
  organs, and acupuncture

  approach to therapy.

• Draws together components of complementary
  therapies and forms enhanced treatment for

• Has origins in manual muscle testing which
  started in 1920s by Robert W. Lovett
  Wilhelmina Wright.
• Manual muscle testing is a method in which it
  registers electric activity in the muscles and
  CNS to find the dysfunctional area.
