E6 Cluster Honouring Our Pioneers

• Calling All Students in the E6 Cluster
  Schools!
• In-line with SG50, we will be collaborating with
  our various partners in organizing an event to
  honour and appreciate the hard work of our
  pioneers.
• Our grandparents belong to the pioneer
  generation. E6 Cluster would like to invite all
  students in our Cluster Schools to participate in
  this inaugural Honouring Our Pioneers
  initiative. Through this initiative, we hope that
  our students will be better aware of the roles
  and contributions of their grandparents, both in
  their lives and in Singapore, and continue to
  appreciate and value their grandparents even
  more.
• This year, International Grandparents Day falls
  on 13 September 2015. In conjunction with this,
  E6 Cluster, together with our various partners,
  will be hosting the event in honour of our
  pioneers, on Saturday, 29 August 2015.
• To commemorate the event, we will be organising a
  writing competition for all our students. Come
  and join us in this admirable project! All you
  have to do is write about your invaluable
  experiences with one of your grandparents!
• Competition Details
• The competition is open to all students from P3
  to JC2 in E6 Cluster Schools
• Deadline for the entry is on 1July 2015
• Results will be announced on 27July 2015
• Winners will be invited to a special reception
  with one of their grandparents on
• 29 August 2015
• 5. Winners may be required to present their short
  write-ups at the presentation
• ceremony
• 6. All selected stories will be published and
  presented to winners at the event
• 7. Multiple submissions are not allowed and will
  lead to disqualification

  photograph, you have agreed that it can be used
  for marketing and printing purposes.
• Secondary Schools Junior Colleges
• An essay or poem of about 150 to a maximum of
  300 words. (Typed in Arial font 12)
• Guidelines for the write-up
• What I appreciate about my grandparent(s)
• The wisdom of my grandparent(s)
• How my grandparent(s) have inspired me and
  influenced my character
• 3. Attach a photograph of you and your
  grandparent(s). Please note that by attaching the
  photograph, you have agreed that it can be used
  for marketing and printing purposes.
• 4. The soft copy is to be submitted via email by
  01 July 2015 to
