1 Timothy 523
  • No longer drink only water, but use a little wine
for your stomach's sake and your frequent
    infirmities.

  • If Timothy were already drinking wine with every

  • It was NOT intoxicating wine because
  • 4 Purpose of miracles to produce faith
  • John 2030-31 30 And truly Jesus did many other
signs in the presence of His disciples, which are
not written in this book 31 but these are
written that you may believe that Jesus is the
Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you
may have life in His name.
  • Miracles produce faith through reason

8
Wineskins
  • Matthew 917 Nor do they put new wine into old
wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine
is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But
they put new wine into new wineskins, and both
    are preserved."

9
Wineskins
  • This could NOT be fermented wine.
  • 1 It could not be unsealed.
  • 2 It could not have already been fermented.
  • 3 It could not have already started to ferment.
  • 4 The only reason for new wine skins was to
AVOID having the dregs of the old skin CAUSE
    fermentation to start.
