Think about your object as a sculpture in the
round

• What will your inspiration be?
• Will you make it abstract or representational?
• How does it fit in your hand?
• What will it rest on when it is not in your
  hand?
• What methods of construction will you use?
• It should be interesting from all angles

Minimum RequirementsHandheld Sculpture Lesson

• Must create a sculpture in the round that has
  some kind of relationship with your hand
• Must use at least 2 methods of construction
• Must create a method of display for sculpture
  (such as a pedestal or base)
• Experimentation with form, texture, balance,
  rhythm, positive and negative space
