  Collection of Evidence.

Structure of a COE

• A Collection of Evidence is built from tasks.
• Tasks are a scenario-based set of questions.
• The scenario provides a context for 3 - 4
  constructed response questions.
• The questions are aligned to the same content
  standards as those assessed on the Biology EOC
  exam.

What is in a Collection?

• A collection is a set of six to eight student
  work samples.
• Work samples are the tasks that have been
  completed by the student.
• 2-3 On Demand tasks where none of the
  individual questions on a task may be opened for
  review or revision.
• 4-6 Extended Time tasks that students may
  complete individual questions in a task over more
  than one class period or session.
