• 1. O come, let us shout for joy to YHWH,
• Rejoice in the rock of our salvation!
• 2. Let us come before his countenance with
  thanksgiving,
• With songs rejoice in him.

• 3. For YHWH is a great God,
• A king about all gods!
• 4. In his hand are the deep places of the earth,
• The peaks of the hills are his.
• 5. His is the sea, he has made it,
• And the dry land, his hand has formed it.

• 6. O enter in, let us pay homage and bow down,
• Fall down before YHWH, who created us!
• 7. For he is our God,
• And we are his people
• The sheep of his pasturing.
• Recognize his activity today!
• O that you would listen to his voice!

• 8. Do not harden your hearts as at Meribah,
• As on the day of Massah in the desert,
• 9. Where your fathers tempted me,
• Tried me, even though they had seen my works!
• 10. Forty years I loathed this generation.
• I said A people of confused mind they are,
• They have not learned to know my ways.
• 11. So I swore in my wrath
• They shall not come to my rest!
