  • Make sure you look at your paper very carefully!!!

Writing
  • Do not write on the back of the draft and always
    write in ink (blue or black)
  • Do not use symbols
  • , _at_, /, etc
  • Do not use slang
  • cause, cuz, etc.
  • Do not use abbreviations
  • w/, b/c, etc.

Numbers
  • If a number is two words or less, spell it out
  • Example one, five, twelve, twenty two, seventy
    seven, etc
  • If a number is more than three words, you can
    write it in numeric form.
  • Example 123, 2,462, 50,456, etc.

  • Spell out cardinal numbers
  • eighth, twelfth
  • Spell out numbers, unless it is the date, time,
    or three or more words (age)
  • eight, twenty eight, 108

  • 12 point Font
  • Times new Roman or Arial
  • Standard margins (pre-set)
  • Header with your last name and page number
  • Word Count at the end of paper!!!
