Title: Introduction to the Basic Idea of Astrogeographia
1Introduction to the Basic Idea of
Astrogeographia based on the book
Astrogeographia - Correspondences between the
Stars and Earthly Locations, A Bible of
Astrology and Earth Chakras by Robert Powell
and David Bowden
2The basic idea of Astrogeographia is that each
place on Earth corresponds to a unique star in
the heavens, its star of birth, which
imprinted into that location at the beginning of
the Earth.
3For example, the star Alnitak in the belt of
the Orion constellation corresponds to the Great
Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. Alnitak is seen here
lined up in longitude with the Great Pyramid.
The constellation of Orion was seen as the god
Osiris by the ancient Egyptians.
4By fixing the longitude alignment of Alnitak with
the Great Pyramid, as well as the latitude
alignment of the Celestial Equator with
Jerusalem, it becomes possible to calculate the
star of birth for every place on Earth.
The Celestial Equator (yellow circle) is the
projection of the Earth's Equator out onto the
sphere of the stars. This is lined up with the
latitude circle through Jerusalem, at 31 47' N.
5Any initial difficulty in understanding this
alignment can be resolved by realising that the
continental plates containing both Africa and the
Middle East have been moving in general
northwards, since the time of the original
imprint of the stars onto the Earth.
6When the star of birth for each place on Earth
has been calculated according to the above two
alignments, a complete map of the sphere of the
stars onto the Earth emerges. ( AQAquarius
