• 65 Residency Programs (each has their own
  coordinator)
• All these programs must meet ACGME (Accreditation
  Council for General Medical Education)
  requirements
• 780 Residents in these programs
• The activities between programs must be
  coordinated
• Each program must meet multiple standards,
  documentation, scheduling, and evaluations in
  order to be Accredited
• The Institution itself must also be accredited

• Being able to customize in order to meet specific
  needs of each program

• Programs are all at different levels of
  organization
• Thoracic Surgery is one of the most advanced
  they are currently using MS Project
• Not really an effective solution for them and not
  a solution to be applied to the whole system
