Propaganda
  • Propaganda is a type of message aimed directly at
influencing the opinions or behavior of the
people rather than conveying them the whole
truth. Propaganda wants people to do or act a
certain way. Propaganda mostly appears in the
form of newspapers, slogans, leaflets, songs, or
posters. Usually propaganda aims to entice ideas
of works within religions, politics, and economic
purposes. These propaganda posters represent the
ideas during a certain period of time. By
studying propaganda posters, we can know and
learn what the people in history were thinking,
were forced to think, or how the government
wanted them to think or act.

  • The symbol of peace symbol of socialism.
  • The first poster presents the image of Vladimir
Lenin appearing as the sun shining on a tower
in the Soviet Union and a Parliament building. By
putting Lenins face on the sun represents that
Lenin is the new hope of Russia and is a great
Communist leader. According to the quote, the
purpose of the poster is to introduce people to
the idea of Socialism. When Socialism is
achieved, peace would occur. Gold color was used
to attract the attention of the citizens with its
warm message of a new hope and peace of the
    nation.
