  • Attend ONS Leadership training session

  • Assist the Nominating Committee in recruiting
    candidates for SIG elections (Section VII)

Complete submit Annual Report by deadline Submit topic submissions for Congress IOL
Publish 3 newsletters per year Recruit candidates for SIG elections and VOTE
Develop agenda for Congress meeting Meet deadlines
Chair Congress meeting (if not able, find a replacement) Communicate with SIG leadership mentor your coordinator-elect
Record minutes forward to National Office w/sign-in sheet coordinator evaluation Review/revise Strategic Plan
Publish minutes in newsletter or communique Read and respond to materials/e-mails sent to you

Communicate with volunteers recruited for workgroups, editors, etc. Serve as a resource to ONS
Read sign SIG Officer Affirmation of Service Form Letter of Agreement ONS Conflict of Interest and Antitrust forms Attend SIG Council Meeting at Congress

Complete phone log reimbursement requests Develop a poster to display at Congress

Develop a Welcome Letter for new members Submit a SIG member for a scholarship or award
Create a membership workgroup Apply for SIG Project Funding
