INTRODUCTION
  • It is estimated that somewhere between 30-50
    percent of all married individuals in the united
    states will engage in infidelity at some point
    during their marriage.
  • It is known fact that 60 percent of extramarital
    affairs are carried out by men.
  • 50 percent of these men are aged 40 or above.

Thesis
  • Cheating can have a several negative impacts in
    life and can cause problems and it leads to
    feelings of isolation, low self esteem and also
    leads to mistrust for the one who is cheated on.

Isolation
  • Isolation has many disadvantages. People will
    socialize less and spend less time around people
    and more time alone.
  • This can have bad effect because one needs to be
    social in the society.
  • people feel good about themselves when they
    communicate and they feel good in life.
  • Socialization is important skill which develops
    over time and helps people develop appropriate
    adult roles

Low Self Esteem
  • Psychologically they will change because they
    will think about the reasons why they were
    cheated on.
  • They might feel they were not good enough. Ex.
    Physically, appearance, intelligence.
  • Creates low self esteem and causes decrease in
    confidence.
  • High confidence is needed in today's society.

Conclusion and Arguments
  • Their behaviour changes, they act differently and
    their entire way of thinking changes.
  • Creates various problems in life
  • Creates isolation and low self esteem which
    decreases confidence.
  • Everything happens for a reason.
