Why do I have to do this?

• Every School in Washington must follow the same
  requirements mandated through the Office of
  Public Instruction!
• A. Encourage students to think analytically,
  logically and creatively and to integrate
  experience and knowledge to solve problems.
• B. Give students a chance to explore a topic in
  which they have a great interest.
• C.Offer students an opportunity to apply their
  learning in a real world" way.

• More than one way to approach this
• Make it something you care about!
• Make it something you can finish from beginning
  to end!

The Proposal Topic Must

• Have a lot of potential to expand
• Be research relevant
• Can be community based
• A challenge for growth
• Potential for learning is high
• Paper Advisor and Expert Advisor identified
• Any Costs are identified
