• As the technician, you are responsible for
  teaching the patient how to care for their
  lenses.
• Sometimes, no matter how diligent you are,
  complications happen.
• It is important for you, as the technician, to
  know when the patient needs to see the doctor and
  if necessary, reinstruct the patient to avoid any
  further complications.
• Most gas perm complications are the same as soft
  contact lens complications, but, I do want to
  review!

• Remember, take your time fitting, verifying, and
  making modifications to avoid complications!
• Always make sure the patient fully understands
  how to clean and care for the CLs and knows the
  risks of not taking care of them properly.
• All of the complications you have seen can be
  avoided, simply by taking your time and educating
  the patient!
