Major Objectives

• Complete and Improve the quality of Forest Soil
  Condition Database (Level I and II)
• Improve overlay with Crown Condition database on
  4635 plots within EU25 (2003) 5915 plots (30
  countries)
• Complete (updated) set of mandatory parameters on
  all Level I plots optional parameters desirable
• Create data compatibility important for other
  European objectives (e.g. EU Thematic Soil
  Strategy)
• Monitor changes in soil chemistry after 10 years
• Testing of updated manual and other QA/QC efforts
