Content Passion
Within your subject matter, what are you
passionate about teaching? In other words, of all
the topics and standards you teach as part of
your curriculum, which are the ones you most
enjoy?

• There are so many subject matters in the field of
  ag. Education. Each are very important.
  However, I am very passionate about the ag.
  Mechanics. Getting into the shop and welding,
  learning electrical and plumbing, and carpentry
  are all very enjoyable to me!

Professional Passion
Within your profession, but not specific to your
subject matter, what are you passionate about?
What is it about being an educator that drives
you? What ignites a fire inside of you?

• What drives me to become an educator is to teach
  students the range of possible careers within
  agriculture. Agriculture covers business,
  entrepreneurship, mechanics, animal production,
  and natural resources. Educating those who are
  less knowledgeable excites me! Its not all just
  cows, plows and sows anymore.

Personal Passion
Completely outside of your profession, what are
you passionate about?

• I am very passionate about hunting, farming, and
  my family. I greatly enjoy the outdoors. At a
  very young age I found an outlet to de-stress was
  to spend time in the woods. Soaking it up in all
  its beauty and hunting an array of game brings me
  great enjoyment. Being in the woods with my
  friends has brought me many great memories. From
  early fall until late spring I have always found
  something to hunt and whether harvesting an
  animal or not was the least of my worries. I
  also am passionate about farming. While I do not
  live on my own farm I have always enjoyed the
  work. The dairy industry is huge in my county
  and I have grown fond of it. The people within
  it, the work it requires and always having
  something to do. It brings me great pleasure to
  sit on a tractor all day raking hay. Finally, I
  am very passionate about my family. They are the
  roots of who I have become. They drive me to
  strive to be all I can be and spending time with
  them is incomparable.
